I never feel compelled to write reviews but Mr. Blackie Pagano is a true scholar and a gentleman. I brought him four vintage Fenders over the last three weeks and each one came back sounding better than ever. A vintage component here and matched tube there brought these amps to peak performance in sound and feel. These amps are now part of a total instrument that is a combination of great electric guitar plugged into a hand tuned living and breathing vintage amp. Blackie brought it all back to me and my guitars. No hype, no bull, Blackie just delivers every time. Furthermore, I have had many more amps serviced by Blackie Pagano including Tweeds, Blackface, Silverface, and most recently, a Vox AC15HTVH. All came back to me dramatically improved. The Vox, in particular, that has a reputation for being extremely noisy is as quiet as church mouse and just sings. I played the House of Blues in Anaheim last week and the sound guy kept me up in the mix because that Vox sounded so great with my 12 string Ricky. Blackie is the real deal and I feel extremely fortunate to have found him.
