When stopping by Blackie’s office, it was a little easy to get lost, especially coming from the valley. Just make sure to take the 110 North and hit that exit on Downtown 6th street and don’t get back on to the 110! Anyways, now that I’m going a bit off tangent I’d like to get back to the subject. Took my Orange Rockerverb 100 in 2 days ago and Blackie told me turn around for an amp was about 6 weeks. And judging from all the amps in his office, it was very understandable. I did the rush delivery considering I had a gig tonight and got it back within time. I tested the amp today and it is considerably louder and crisper sounding than before. I’m not going to say I didn’t pay a lot. I paid a lot in the context of just handing out money but not in the context of the work he performed.It was obvious from the start why he has so much business, he’s the best techie in Los Angeles and he will probably be my go to guy for the years to come.
